Ginger melon smoothie

The drink infused with ginger sparks will cheer you up with its bright taste and aroma. For an even more flavorful variation of this recipe, use the Kolkhoz Melon.

Servings: 2

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup finely chopped honeydew melon
  • 1/3 cup finely chopped kiwi
  • 1/2 cup banana, sliced
  • 1/4 cup white grape juice
  • 1/2 teaspoon ginger juice, (see “tips and notes”)
  • 2 teaspoons lime juice
  • 1/3 cup lemon sherbet
  • 1/2 cup ice

Preparation:

Place all ingredients in a blender. Make a smooth puree and serve immediately.

Tips and Notes:

Note: Ginger juice is available at most health food stores. You can also make it yourself, chop the ginger very finely and use a press to get the juice.
