Garden bell: varieties

Among the many garden types of bells, some varieties should be distinguished that are most loved by flower growers for their resistance to natural phenomena and beautiful flowering.

“Portenschlag” has densely drooping large leaves, star-like flowers with slightly bent petals 2 cm in diameter, bright purple or pink color, with a reddish tint. A low-growing plant up to 25 cm with shooting shoots forming into a dense carpet, is distinguished by good winter hardiness.

“Birch-leaved” is a low-growing perennial with an erect stem 15 cm high with bright green leaves, similar to birch leaves, and white flowers. Differs in long flowering until the first frost.

“Gargan” grows in the form of a small bush up to 25 cm high with a thin, creeping stem and small three-toothed leaves. Differs in abundant flowering with milky flowers with a bluish tint.

“Spiral-leaved” – a low-growing plant up to 15 cm in height with thin stems creeping along the ground, forming a dense turf, and decorative small leaves and small flowers of blue or blue color. The bell root is growing rapidly, so it is better to plant it in a separate composition.

The garden bell is used to decorate flower beds, alleys, lawns in a group or single composition in a flower garden. A variety of species and varieties allows you to decorate the garden, taking into account any wishes and ideas. Observing proper care and putting a little care, the plant will thank you with a beautiful and abundant flowering, which will delight the soul for many years.
