No matter how unpretentious the plant is, without proper care it will not please with long and abundant flowering. Therefore, for fuchsia it is required to provide:
– top dressing; – temperature regime; – correct lighting; – correct watering; – timely transplant.
Feed your fuchsia every year with compound fertilizers designed specifically for indoor plants. Do this from the end of March to the beginning of April. Calculate the dose according to the recommendations on the package. If your fuchsia grows in the open field, then it is better to feed it with biofertilizers.
Fuchsia does not like high temperatures, already at + 30 ° C and above it begins to turn yellow and shed its leaves. Therefore, put it in cool rooms, and in the summertime, transfer it to the balcony, but not from the south side, where it can be even hotter during the day. In the open field, fuchsia is easier even in a hot period, but you do not need to place it in the sun itself, it is better to plant it where the sunlight is scattered from the tree crowns.
Avoid direct sunlight, so do not place the pots on the windowsill, but next to it so that the tulle diffuses the light. It is also better to choose the eastern windows of the apartment, because fuchsia loves the morning sun, and by lunchtime the plant will already be in a saving shade. Plant this flower in ceramic pots, not plastic ones that get very hot from the sun’s rays. And use large containers, in them the roots will not be cramped and hot.
Water the fuchsia liberally, she loves it. And spray on hot days with a spray bottle. Of course, not so much that mold will appear on the surface of the soil, and the roots will rot. In winter, watering should be moderate. The flower is at rest, water it once a week. If the room where fuchsia grows is cold, moisten the ground 1-2 times a month.
