After Our Country’s invasion of Ukraine, Polish medical centers offer help to Ukrainians. Support is provided, among others, by Damian Center, LUX MED Group, Enel-Med Medical Center and the Medical University of Warsaw. The help is free of charge, additionally telephones in Ukrainian were launched. Where Can I Get Help? Below you will find a list of places and helpful phone numbers.

Free medical assistance for Ukraine – Damian Center
The Damian Medical Center in Warsaw has pledged to help people from Ukraine who are forced to leave their home and run away, looking for a safe place. The facility launched a free medical aid package for the residents of Ukraine.
What does the Damian Center offer as part of this assistance?
Ukrainian helpline to help you find your place in the Polish health system – 566 22 20
In each facility, there is a Ukrainian-speaking person at the reception desk who provides translation services during visits to Polish doctors
Consultations (including specialist) and tests in all Damian Center facilities – making appointments at 22 566 22 22
Free emergency internist help at the admission room of the Damian Hospital:
- Monday to Friday from 07:30 to 20:00
- on Saturdays from 08:00 to 20:00
- on Sunday 08:00 – 16:00
Outpatient surgical and trauma assistance at the Medical Center (+ elective surgery, if the Patient qualifies and the Center performs this type of surgery) – up to a monthly limit of 50

Free medical assistance for Ukraine – Lux Med

Free medical assistance for Ukraine —Enel-Med
The Enel-Med Medical Center has also joined the action of free medical support.

As part of Primary Healthcare, refugees can take advantage of free visits to an internist and pediatrician. Help is available at the following centers:

Free medical assistance for Ukrainian citizens – Medical University of Warsaw
The Medical Center of the Medical University of Warsaw also offers free assistance to Ukrainian citizens.

Citizens of Ukraine are also provided free of charge:

Citizens of Ukraine who have obtained the right to stay legally in the territory of the Republic of Poland from February 24, 2022 on the basis of a certificate issued by the Border Guard of the Republic of Poland or having an imprint of the Polish Border Guard stamp in travel document.
Before the service is provided, the entitlement must be confirmed, and then the data from the presented documents (date, place, document number and name of the entity issuing the document) should be recorded in the medical documentation – the documents should not be copied! Verification is done during registration.
Help for Ukrainians struggling with epilepsy
Stress is one of the factors that can contribute to increased seizures (epilepsy), which is why a telephone number has been set up for citizens of Ukraine struggling with this disease. These people will benefit from medical advice, get immediate help and receive a prescription that will allow them to purchase the missing drugs. The free helpline works in Ukrainian, and Polish.
Who can use the hotline?
- people struggling with epilepsy, who came to Poland and urgently need medical consultation (both stationary and online);
- people with a history of epilepsy or with symptoms of epilepsy;
- people diagnosed with a disease who need a prescription for medications.

The EMERGEN Cybernetic Medicine Development Foundation and the Neurosphera Epilepsy Therapy Center are responsible for the action.
Helpline for oncologically ill citizens of Ukraine
Warsaw Genomics, actively involved in the activities in the field of oncogenetic diagnostics and prevention, and the Rakiety Oncology Foundation, supporting people with oncology diseases and their relatives since 2012, join forces and launch a special hotline responding to the needs of oncological patients from Ukraine.
The hotline provides support in the field of:
- information on the possibility of continuing oncological treatment in Poland,
- assistance in organizing medical transport to Poland and accommodation,
- support in obtaining the necessary genetic tests to start anti-cancer therapies reimbursed under the National Health Fund,
- assistance in financing treatment and providing a sub-account for collecting funds for treatment,
- support of specialists: a psychologist, psycho-oncologist for people undergoing treatment,
- the possibility of arranging a free medical consultation with dr hab. Anna Wójcicka in the field of targeted therapies in oncology.

University Hospital in Krakow for Ukrainian citizens
For citizens of Ukraine who have a certificate issued by the Border Guard of the Republic of Poland or an imprint of the stamp of the Border Guard of the Republic of Poland in a travel document, confirming their legal stay in the territory of the Republic of Poland, after crossing the border from February 24, 2022, in connection with an armed conflict on the territory of Ukraine – The University Hospital is launching:
- Dedicated internal medicine and surgery office open DAILY from 12 to 15, within the HED (Building F, level +1, office No. 15) (the office accepts adults ONLY)
- Psychiatric and psychological help for refugees from Ukraine. The assistance will be provided from Monday to Friday, from 12 to 15 in the room no. 207, 21nd floor, ul. Kopernika XNUMXA. The office accepts adults as well as children and adolescents. Interviews are possible in Ukrainian, , Belarusian, English and Polish.
