😉 Greetings to my dear readers and visitors of the site! This amazing family life story took place in tsarist Russia. Hope you find it interesting!

The mystery of fate

In a distant village in a wealthy family, there was a guy named Stepan. And in the same village there lived an orphan girl. On the night of Christmas Stepan’s sister read fortune-telling on the mirror. Styopa also decided to try his luck and looked in the mirror. Suddenly he saw in him that same beggar girl. He was very afraid that the dowry would become his wife, and decided to destroy her.

Late in the evening, he watched her, severely beat her and left her in a snowdrift by the road. Fortunately, at that time a wealthy landowner was driving along the road. She noticed the girl and ordered to stop. The unfortunate woman was raised, shaken off the snow and taken to the estate.

When the lady found out that the girl she had saved was an orphan, she decided to adopt her. She taught her everything that a young lady from high society should know, taught her to read and write.

When Stepan decided to marry, he began to choose a bride to match – a rich one. As a result, his choice fell on the daughter of a landowner – she was beautiful and educated, moreover, with a good dowry. The young man wooed her, and the young lady agreed to the marriage. She did not recognize her offender.

On their wedding night, the girl undressed. Stepan saw huge scars on her young body. He asked: where are they from? The young wife said that seven years ago she was attacked by a bully and severely beaten.

The shocked husband understood everything, but did not show it. This was his secret, which he kept until the end of his life. And only before his death did he open up to his wife. He repented before her, and she forgave him – after all, he was a good husband and father, all his life he literally carried her in his arms.
