Experts name brands of chicken contaminated with dangerous bacteria

Experts checked the quality of chicken thighs of the brands Troekurovo, Everyday, Rzhevskoe Podvorie, Petrukha, Yasnye Zori and Servilux. They analyzed whether there are bacteria in the chicken, whether the meat is stuffed with antibiotics and solutions that increase mass, whether the information on the label can be trusted. The results were disappointing. Antibiotics and other foreign drugs were not found in meat. However, without fear for your health, you can eat only one brand of chicken – “Every day”.

Meat under the label “Troekurovo” was frankly stale: sticky, if you press on the thigh, a hole forms, which does not straighten for a long time, the color and smell also leave no doubt. The number of bacteria in meat exceeded the permissible norm by 24 times. In no case should you buy this.

As, however, and chicken semi-finished products from “Rzhevsky compound” и Petruhi… Not only are the bacteria in this meat more than 30 times more than the norm, but it is also pathogenic microorganisms: Escherichia coli and Salmonella. There are no complaints about the freshness of chicken, but it is still not worth eating it. And in semi-finished products from “Troekurovo” there were simply too many bacteria – 24 times the norm.

Compared to these three brands, the products “Clear Dawns” и Servilux – almost exemplary. There are also a lot of bacteria there, but not so much: in Yasnye Zoryi, bacterial contamination exceeds the norm by 2,9 times, in Servilux – by 2,1 times. But choosing what to buy from these five brands is like choosing the lesser of evils.

By the way, the experts also had complaints about the information on the label. “Rzhevskoe Podvorie” and “Every Day” did not deceive consumers. The rest gave information about the product as if at random: the chicken “Troekurovo” and “Petrukha” turned out to be fatter than stated; Servilux has 16 percent less protein than indicated on the label, while Yasnye Zory has 25 percent more protein.
