Error codes AE, AC and analogues on a Samsung typewriter – what to do

The Samsung washing machine can display AE, AC, AC6, 13E if the control module stops responding and transmitting a signal. And this does not happen all the time – the machine either works well, then suddenly such a code is displayed on the scoreboard.

To fix the problem and remove the error, you need to know why the AE code occurs.

What does it say and why does the error code occur

An AE error may occur immediately after starting the Samsung washer or at the time of washing, which was running normally. If the display shows error AE, AC, AC6, 13E, this indicates a problem in communication between the control and display modules.

What does such a code mean? It means that between these modules periodically disappears or there is no signal at all. The control module does not respond to the operation of the panel with the display and control buttons of the washing machine located on it.

Sometimes the AE error code indicates a short circuit that has occurred in the circuit between these modules.

Without carrying out diagnostic measures, it is difficult to determine why the boards stopped “communicating”, and AE was displayed on the display. But sometimes you can solve the problem on your own.

To do this, you just need to establish its true cause. On the display, fault codes AE, AC, AC6, 13E occur due to a temporary control failure. Then the washer shows an AE error, when in fact there is none.

How to fix the problem

Here is what to do if an AC error appears on the Samsung SM display:

  • Turn off the washer with the on / off button;
  • Remove the plug from the socket;
  • Let the machine rest for a few minutes;
  • Restart the washing process.

If after this the error AC6, AE, 13E does not occur, then it was possible to reset the error, which was false. The washing machine is in perfect order and you can continue to use it.

But if, at startup, the washing machine again gives an error on the display, then you can’t do without the help of a professional.

Microcircuits can burn out in them or the tracks on the boards can break. If the tracks malfunction, they can be soldered, and if the microcircuit is out of order, then the control module must be completely replaced.
