Eczema

Eczema (from the Greek Ekzema – to boil) is an inflammatory disease of the surface layer of the skin. A chronic course is noted. The nature of the disease is neuro-allergic.

Manifestation of eczema

Eczema manifests itself as a rash, which can be of different types, but usually – blisters. Eczema is often accompanied by severe itching.

Development of eczema

The development of eczema occurs with increased sensitivity to several (sometimes to one, but rarely) allergens, and to one’s own cells and tissues.

The result of this is a violent reaction of the skin to various external and internal influences.

Exacerbations and their intensity depend on the time of contact with the allergen, its quantity, and individual sensitivity.
