Discovering the Truffle in Zaragoza

A Gastronomic Route around the black gold of Aragon, where different hospitality establishments will pay their particular tribute.

Discover The Truffle is the name that will take us for a month to know the excellence of this warty fungus that is born under the earth and elevates to the altars to the dishes that it accompanies.

The gastronomic days of the Black Truffle are organized by “More than Gastronomy” and they are an excellent reason to get to know the city of Zaragoza enjoying the delicious delicacy that is the Tuber melanosporum or Black truffle.

About thirty hospitality establishments in the Argonese Capital participate in this event,

 which began on February 8 and until March 13, will be present at the bars and tables of the brave locals who have wanted to contribute their creativity to the cause.

The exquisite and at the same time great unknown delicacy, known as Winter Truffle, is presented as one of the products collected in the three Aragonese provinces and the community in turn holds the ranking of the world’s largest producer of it.

This data gives the gastronomic of particular importance to be able to disseminate and export its peculiarities, its culinary delights and the product itself, nationally and all over the world.

The presentation of the conference had the participation of Chef Iván Puyuelo (Still Life Azoque) where he made an exquisite tapa made with octopus, truffle and violet potato, which together with the wines of the event’s sponsor, the Obergo Winery, they delighted the attendees and kicked off the participating locals.
