The Design Market offers us the latest trends in fashion, jewelry, accessories, furniture, lighting, art and, of course, gastronomy.
The next days 5 and 6 of September, the second anniversary of the Design and gastronomy market in Matadero Madrid.
Two days of celebrations and creative exhibitions, which will be flanked by the culinary offerings of the best Street food foodstrucks.
On this occasion 160 selected designers gather to offer their creations to the visitor of a multidisciplinary variety that this anniversary of the artistic exhibition well deserves.
Fruit of the rise of the Gastronomy, different samples and exhibition spaces that have wanted to link art and design with our Mediterranean diet like the recent Valencia Disseny Week and the Barcelona Design Week.
Throughout the two days the venue will also be enlivened by the music of the groups The Bright, McEnroe, La Bien Querida and Papaya, who will celebrate their concerts to the sound of the most authentic street food.
The culinary proposal of foodtrucks.
Along the esplanades of the enclosure, the culinary proposals of street food will be installed, by the hand of about twenty food trucks and caravans that, in the purest style of a bar on wheels, will offer the visitor with affordable prices an ideal gastronomic variety to practice the finger food.

To make the visitor participate in the celebrations, a very gastronomic contest design will prevail above all.
Attendees will be able to participate, contributing their vote to the different Foodtruck to compete in any of the following awards:
- Restaurant on wheels with a “Coolest design”
- Street food “More yummy “
- Award-winning culinary developer such as “Cook with more salt shaker”
A dinner for two people will be raffled off among the participants to enjoy sitting down an evening with a tasting menu, valued at 100 euros.
