Christmas bonus

Christmas bonus for the poorest families

Valuable help at the end of the year for modest households, the Christmas bonus is renewed in the second half of December. Note: only one premium is paid per household.

Who are the beneficiaries of the Christmas bonus?

The Christmas bonus is paid to families benefiting from social minima. It allows them to receive an exceptional allowance, always welcome at the time of the end of year holidays.

The 2013 Christmas bonus is paid to people who benefit for the month of November 2013 or, failing that, for the month of December 2013 certain specific aids and allowances:

  • active solidarity income (RSA), provided that the household’s resources do not exceed the amount of the basic RSA corresponding to the composition of your family
  • the specific solidarity allowance (ASS)
  • lretirement equivalent allowance (AER)
  • the transitional solidarity allowance (ATS)
  • the monthly lump sum for resumption of activity

If you are a beneficiary of RSA, the Christmas bonus will be paid, without any action on your part, by the Caf (or CMSA).

If you are a beneficiary of ASS, AER, ATS or the monthly lump sum return to work bonus, it will be paid by Pôle Emploi.
