Description of late Belarusian pear
The pear is a medium-sized tree with a lush spherical crown. Branches of chocolate color are located at an angle of almost 90 ° C to the trunk. Fruits are small in size, weighing 90-100 g. The color of the fruits is green at first, later turns red, late maturity is a combination of yellow-red shades.
Late Belarusian pear has a bountiful harvest
An interesting feature of this pear is that its fruits are not only stored for a long time, but also improve the taste. On the scale of taste, these pears were assigned 4,4 points. Their flesh is tender, juicy, and the skin is a little rough. The sweet taste is combined with a pleasant sourness. Her harvest is large, up to 100 kg from an adult tree, when planting next to a pollinator.
The first harvest will appear in the 3-4th year. Fruits ripen from late September to mid-October, and can lie for 4 months. The pear hibernates well, but it must be protected from severe frosts.

- “Yasochka” is a medium-sized tree with lowered branches. Medium-sized fruits – 140 g of yellow color with a pink blush. The pulp is sweet and sour with a high rating on the tasting scale. The variety has average resistance to winter cold.
- “Duhmyanaya” is a tall tree with medium fruits of 140 g. Pears are colored green with pink highlights. The pulp is white, oily, sweet with a slight sourness. The crop can be filmed in August-September. The first crop will appear in the 4th year, if there are pollinating trees as neighbors. This variety is quite resistant to diseases, tolerates transportation well.
For planting on the site, you can choose not only late, but also early varieties, which you can feast on in the summer.
Frost-resistant varieties of Belarusian selection are well suited for growing in the temperate climate of the middle zone. The taste and productivity of these pears are not inferior to the pampered southern varieties.
