How can you clean cast iron bathrooms?
The easiest to clean are old cast-iron bathrooms, which can still be found in some Russian apartments. Usually, the appearance of this design is already far from the original, so you should not limit yourself to the use of abrasive products. They will withstand diluted whiteness, and bleach, and cleaning with soda or coarse salt, with which they sometimes “scrape off” plaque on the surface of the bathroom.
Nevertheless, it is worth completely excluding the use of such funds in the case of a new cast iron bathroom. Their enamel surface is quite delicate and can quickly deteriorate when such rough tools are used, as well as iron or other rough scrapers. New cast iron baths are cleaned using the same method as metal ones.
What products are suitable for enamelled metal baths?
Only gentle agents are compatible with such a material, which cannot damage the surface and give a “carte blanche” corrosion that attacks the metal. If you disregard this advice, you will see in a few weeks that from the place of even the smallest damage, a “web” of small cracks has grown.
As practice shows, after 3-4 years such a bathroom will have to be thrown out.
Do not try to save on your own property and choose the cheapest product, since it is enamels and cast iron that are suitable for cleaning, as a rule, belong to the middle price segment. Be sure to read the product label, which should contain confirmation that the product does not contain even light abrasives, any acids, harsh dyes, and even more so solvents.
Acids and solvents can negatively affect not only the state of the bathroom, but also the health of the person taking water procedures.

The requirements for choosing products for acrylic bathtubs or shower trays are similar to those that apply to hot tubs.
Do not forget that an important guarantee of the cleanliness of your bathroom is the frequency of its cleaning, since even the most perfect product will not be able to cope with annual stains, and not old stains, on the contrary, can remove even a light gel.
It is necessary to purchase a product with the softest composition, since such a coating is no less susceptible than enamel. It is not only the product that is important, but also the choice of the “tool” for cleaning – the most gentle washcloths and rags, as well as brushes that must be used when cleaning the nozzles in hydromassage baths.
