Mom always punished Sarah if she showed up after the set hour – and sent her to work out early the next morning. Definitely, Sarah learned a lesson: how to become goal-oriented and get in great physical shape!
How did you come to the gym?
I was born and raised in the small town of Albany, Georgia. Fitness has become a part of my life since childhood. When I was a teenager, as a punishment, my mother forced me to run 20 laps around the house (in elementary school I won the president’s fitness award every year!) hosted by my mom and started at 5:30 am.
After some time, I began to like coming to the lessons already energized and with a clear mind, and I began to notice that my peers were growing up. When I became a teenager, I was thin as a reed and people used to joke about me. Instead of the “cool ass!” That guys usually say to girls, I heard: “Ugh! Cool basin! ” It shook my self-confidence because I never felt ‘attractive’ or ‘curvy girl’. At the age of 18, I was tall and straight from top to bottom and felt like a 12 year old boy.
I started training and strength fitness when I went to college, but I didn’t know exactly how to train outside of my mom’s bike class and without a group instructor, so I started reading Oxygen Magazine. I immediately noticed Jamie Eason’s figure and fell in love with her feminine curves with an overall strong and athletic physique. After I learned a lot and changed my diet and training, I really began to enjoy weight training. In the summer of 2009. I met with a participant in fights without rules, who gave me the idea of participating in the competition. Once in the hall, I noticed a huge bodybuilder posing in the mirror, plucked up courage and went up to ask him about participating in the competition. He looked at me carefully, commented on what I needed to work on and together we chose a competition in which I was to take part … And you know the rest!
Which exercise regimen is best for you?
My workouts start around 3 pm between sessions, and I lift as heavy weights as I can to keep my muscles in good shape … My body’s characteristics are such that I easily lose mass. I do cardio workouts about XNUMX times a week, and I also use mountain biking and boxing just for fun – on weekends or in the middle of the week if I have time.

Why do you love fitness / bodybuilding?
Seeing my body transform, I feel like I’m doing my own science experiment! I have studied very deeply the characteristics of my body. Now I feel what he needs and what he is trying to tell me. I love being in tune with myself and knowing that my body loves me for the way I take good care of it by practicing a healthy lifestyle.
What motivates you to follow a healthy lifestyle?
The thought that my body loves me for it!
What made you want to achieve your goals?
I really love the spirit of competition, so when I set a goal, I do everything in my power to reach the end. Of course, sometimes I have to revise the deadlines, but I definitely achieve my goal.
What are your future plans for fitness / bodybuilding?
I want to get the Bikini Pro title of the International Federation of Bolbuilders, have more opportunities to act as a model and be on the cover of Oxygen and Status Fitness Magazine! I also want to start my own sports business, Sundar Fitness, which means beauty in Sanskrit. I believe that real beauty arises as a result of harmony between the inner and outer world, and I want to help young girls understand this so that they start taking care of their appearance and inner world as early as possible.
What advice would you give your fitness rivals?
- Know that anyone on stage is as nervous as you are.
- Do not come to the competition too early, otherwise you will be completely nervous.
- Don’t try to follow other girls when you are competing. How can this help you? You are not a judge and you do not know what they are looking at. Instead, try to learn something about every person you meet, whether you like them or not. Of course, some of their views may seem crazy to you, but always stay open and never burn bridges – this industry is too small.
