8 things only real cleaners do every day

There are those who love order. There are those who cannot live without him. And there are those who are simply obsessed with sterile cleanliness.

Psychologists say that an excessive desire to keep the house in perfect order can be a sign of some kind of mental disorder. But where is the line between the love of purity and a manic passion for it? We have collected 8 things that only those who are obsessed with order do every day. And, to be honest, some of them can be done less often.

1. Change towels in the kitchen

It is quite logical to wash the rags with which you wipe off the table every day. And even if you cook something. And if you only go into the kitchen to turn on the kettle, then even this is not necessary. Changing towels every day only makes sense if you have a large family and the kitchen is really not idle. The same goes for hand towels in the bathroom.

2. Clean the bath

Again – if the family is large, then this may make sense. Or if you wash your pet after a walk. Here, in general, in an amicable way, you need to walk through the bathroom with a disinfectant after each wash. Well, if one or two people use the bathroom, then such fanaticism is useless. But wiping the tiled walls after a shower is really worth it – this way you will save the bathroom from mold.

3. Disinfect countertops

Well, that’s for sure fanaticism. If you do not cook meat or fish every day, from which bacteria strive to creep all over the kitchen, then pouring bleach on the work surfaces is absolutely useless. It is only worth remembering that there are things that cannot be put on kitchen tables: for example, a string bag with which you go shopping, a wallet, etc.

4. Wipe off dust

Dust in a city apartment is, of course, a terrible attack. However, if there is a humidifier at home, then the problem becomes less acute. An air purifier can handle dust even better. In general, modern gadgets are so diligently making life easier for housewives that it is a sin not to use it.

5. Wash the floor and vacuum

Let’s again make allowances for a large family and winter slush. If neither one nor the other is not, then wiping the floor in the hallway in the evenings is usually enough. But a vacuum cleaner, as British scientists have found, can save your life: it turns out that bacteria living in house dust mutate and become antibiotic-resistant superbugs. And this is another reason to buy a robot vacuum cleaner complete with a humidifier or air purifier.

6. Clean the coffee maker

On the one hand, experts say that it is harmful to wash a coffee machine or coffee maker every day, because from the inside it is gradually enveloped in coffee oils and the coffee gets a richer taste. On the other hand, other experts claim that the inside of the coffee maker is simply an ideal breeding ground for bacteria. Warm and damp, what else is needed for simple infectious happiness. However, it seems to us that it is quite enough to clean the coffee maker once a month, and the removable parts are already washed after each preparation of coffee.

7. Wipe mirrors

Almost any glass and mirror cleaner is antistatic. That is, the surface treated by it repels dust for some time. If you don’t spit in the mirror or splash it with toothpaste, for example, then there is no point in wiping it every day.

8. Wipe down the refrigerator

Experts say that if you haven’t spilled anything inside, then you need to wash the refrigerator and freezer every three months, or even six months. As well as the oven, by the way.
