Drinking soda is not healthy, it’s learned even by a child. But some drinks also pose a threat to the high content of sugar. And using them is not less harmful than soft drinks.
Ice tea
Tea is a healthy beverage with a high content of antioxidants. But store-bought sweet teas we can’t associate with useful products. One bottle contains on average more than 30 grams of sugar. It is better to prepare tea by yourself and cool it.
Coconut water
Coconut water is a source of electrolytes. 500 ml of drink covers a quarter of the daily requirement of potassium. In the summer heat, coconut water makes thirst gone. But, buying the drink, you should pay attention to the label: the bag can contain up to 30 grams of sugar.
Fruit juice
Fruit juices are not recommended as a healthy food because of the high sugar content in them. By themselves, the fruits are rich in fiber, the juice of them is not. Even in juice with no sweetener – the sugar concentration remains very high: a glass of grape juice, for example, contains 36 grams, and an Apple — 31 grams.
Sweet yogurt
A standard serving of sweet yogurt contains about 25 grams of sugar: glucose, fructose, fruit puree, and juice. It negates all the benefits of bifidobacteria. Replace flavored yogurt on analog with no fillers and sweeten it yourself with berries and fruit.
Lactose-free milk
Soy, almond, oat, rice milk at no additional mitigation has a specific taste. That is why manufacturers have made variations with syrups and additives. This increases the calorie content of the product but reduces its natural benefit. To get involved with vegetable milk is undesirable.
Coffee drinks
Coffee is a pleasant ritual of modernity. What cafes do not offer coffee: with cream, syrup, marshmallows, grit, pieces of cookie, and chocolate. These drinks are real sugar calorie bomb. Choose the most simple of coffee, such as cappuccino and latte.
Cocoa
Natural cocoa tastes bitter. If you are served a delicious sweet drink, then you have a real high-calorie dessert. If you add in the cocoa whipped cream, then the result is 400 calories and 43 grams of sugar — more than in a Cola bottle.
