Zulbex is a preparation used in the excessive secretion of hydrochloric acid in the stomach. Zulbex contains rabeprazole that effectively inhibits the proton pump, which is responsible for delivering hydrogen protons to the stomach cells. Hydrogen protons combine with chloride ions to form hydrochloric acid. Zulbex stops this process. What are the indications for the use of Zulbex? When should we not take it?

Zulbex – indications for use

Zulbakh is effective in the course of the following ailments: gastric ulceration and / or duodenal ulceration, gastro-oesophageal reflux disease, Zollinger-Ellison syndrome. Zulbakh is used as a medicine to fight the bacterium Helicobacter pylori.

Zulbex – dosage

Zulbakh is intended for oral use. Dosage and frequency of admission Zulbakhu follow your doctor’s instructions. Depending on the type of ailment, Zulbakh apply from 1 to 12 weeks, once or twice a day. If, in turn, the patient suffers from infection with the bacterium Helicobacter pylori, then it is necessary to include antibiotics in the therapy.

If Zulbakh is indicated for once a day, be taken on an empty stomach, before a meal. This dosing regimen significantly increases the effectiveness of the therapy.

Zulbex – contraindications to use

A contraindication for use Zulbakhu there is a situation where you are hypersensitive to rabeprazole or other medicines of this class (substituted benzimidazoles) or to any of the excipients. Zulbakhu should not be used in children, pregnant women and nursing mothers. Inform your doctor about any co-morbid medical conditions, in particular stomach tumors, liver disease or osteoporosis.

Zulbakh may cause drowsiness – as soon as the patient experiences this type of discomfort, he should refrain from driving.

Zulbex – interactions with other drugs

Zulbakh By acting on the inhibition of gastric acid secretion, it may disturb the bioavailability of these drugs, the absorption of which depends on the gastric reaction. Zulbakh so it will impair the absorption of itraconazole or ketoconazole. During the reception Zulbakhu, omeprazole, atazanavir and ritonavir should not be used. The last two drugs are used in the treatment of HIV. Included in Zulbexie rabeprazole reduces their effect.

Zulbex – side effects

The most common side effects during use Zulbakhu are: headache, dizziness and drowsiness (if this occurs, you should not drive a motor vehicle due to the risk of delayed reflexes). In addition to the mentioned side effects, there may also be others, such as nausea, vomiting, abdominal pain and constipation. Additionally, there may be ailments from the respiratory system, e.g. pharyngitis and cough or rhinitis. Less commonly: muscle pains and chest pains, as well as changes in the blood count.
