Zomiren Sr with the active ingredient alprazolamum is a sedative and anxiolytic drug in tablet form intended for short-term treatment as it can be addictive. It should not be used during pregnancy and lactation. – adults initially 3 × 0,25-0,5 mg / day (Zomiren) or 1 mg / day or in 2 divided doses (Zomiren SR); the maintenance dose is 0,5–4 mg / day in 2-3 divided doses (Zomiren) or 0,5–4 mg / day or in 2 divided doses (Zomiren SR);

– elderly people initially 2-3 × 0,25 mg / day (Zomiren) or 0,5-1 mg / day or in 2 divided doses (Zomiren SR); the maintenance dose is 0,5–0,75 mg / day in 2-3 divided doses (Zomiren). Panic disorder with or without agoraphobia:

– adults initially 0,5–1 mg at bedtime (Zomiren) or 0,5–1 mg / day or in 2 divided doses (Zomiren SR); if necessary, the doctor may decide to gradually increase the dose every 3-4 days, not more than 1 mg / day; the maintenance dose is 4 mg / day in divided doses, in exceptional cases 8-10 mg / day in divided doses (Zomiren) or 4-6 mg / day (Zomiren SR).

7. Contraindications to use:
