Zirid and contraindications
- hypersensitivity to any component of the preparation,
- do not use the preparation in people whose accelerated gastric emptying may be harmful, e.g. in the event of gastrointestinal bleeding, mechanical obstruction or perforation,
- in patients with impaired renal or hepatic function, if necessary, the doctor will reduce the dose accordingly,
- the elderly (over 65 years of age) may be more likely to experience side effects. If side effects occur, the doctor may recommend a dose reduction or discontinuation of the preparation.
