Zirid

Zirid is a gastroenterological drug to treat the symptoms of functional non-ulcer dyspepsia. The preparation affects the gastrointestinal tract, increasing intestinal peristalsis. Zirid is available in tablet form and can only be obtained with a prescription.

Indications for use of the drug Zirid

Zirid and contraindications

  1. hypersensitivity to any component of the preparation,
  2. do not use the preparation in people whose accelerated gastric emptying may be harmful, e.g. in the event of gastrointestinal bleeding, mechanical obstruction or perforation,
  3. in patients with impaired renal or hepatic function, if necessary, the doctor will reduce the dose accordingly,
  4. the elderly (over 65 years of age) may be more likely to experience side effects. If side effects occur, the doctor may recommend a dose reduction or discontinuation of the preparation.
