Zero is back: fluff is back in vogue

Here’s how this hairstyle should be worn this season.

The trend for naturalness, which has not gone out of fashion for several years now, has taught all girls to make natural curls, without clear curls. However, this season, the hairstyle that was popular in the late 90s and 2000s is returning – the corrugation. If you suddenly do not know what it is, then you will understand that this is styling for straight and smooth hair, which, using a special iron with tongs, make it zigzag-wavy. Recently, this hairstyle has been done by Kendall Jenner, Beyoncé and Tyra Banks.

However, this season you shouldn’t make the corrugation too structural and pronounced – let’s leave this trend in the 90s. But softer and more mobile zigzags with a fuzzy and non-sharp indentation at the roots are what you need.

According to many stylists, corrugation has returned to complement modern retro looks, and this hairstyle looks best on multi-layered haircuts.

– In addition to loose hair, use decorative corrugated elements in the styling. Selected strands or individual sections of hair must first be sprayed with a thermal protective spray, which will nourish the hair and protect it from high temperatures (it will also give the strands a mirror-like smoothness and shine). For a more pronounced result, spray the fixing spray on the curls.

Another option is for volume using the invisible corrugation technique. A flawless volume spray with an elastic texture is applied to the hair. Next, they should be dried with a hairdryer, and then in a row use corrugated tongs. To create a visually invisible corrugation, the styler must move along a tightly taut strand. This technique is used as a base for many hairstyles.
