Zatoxin – what is it?
Zatoxin is a dietary supplement containing plant extracts aimed at increasing the body’s immunity and ensuring the proper functioning of the mucous membranes of the upper respiratory tract and sinuses. Zatoxin can be used in children over 6 years of age, adolescents and adults.

Zatoxin – composition
Zatoxin contains plant extracts that have a beneficial effect on the human plant organism. Zatoxin is composed of microcrystalline cellulose (bulking agent), elderberry flower extract, mullein flower extract, verbena herb extract, beta glucan from Saccharomyces cerevisiae yeast, gentian root extract, leaf extract Andrographis paniculata, hydroxypropyl methylcellulose (glazing agent), licorice root extract, magnesium stearate (anti-caking agent), silicon dioxide (anti-caking agent), talc (anti-caking agent), xylitol (glazing agent), soy lecithin (emulsifier) and chlorophyll (glazing agent), and chlorophyll B2.
Zatoxin – properties and mode of action
Zatoxin contains a number of valuable substances for the human body, including vitamin B2, elderberry flower extract or mullein flower extract. Vitamin B2 helps to maintain the proper function of the nasal mucosa.
The health benefits of elderberry extract can be attributed to the anthocyanins found in it. As an antioxidant, anthocyanins work by cleaning the body of free radicals that damage cells at the DNA level. Elderberry extract also exhibits antiviral properties that can prevent or reduce symptoms of a wide variety of infections, including upper respiratory and sinus infections. Elderberry extract also has an anti-inflammatory effect, reducing swelling and pain by easing the body’s immune response.
Mullein flower extract reduces nasal congestion and upper respiratory tract congestion. Certain compounds found in mullein flower extract act as soothing or expectorant agents. Relief agents are substances that soothe irritation or inflammation of the inside of the nose, mouth or throat. Expectorants are agents that stimulate the production or secretion of phlegm.

Zatoxin – dosage
The typical form of Zatoxin takes the form of oral tablets. Children over 6 years of age should take 1 tablet of Zatoxin once a day. Adults, in turn, from 1 to 2 tablets once a day. Both in the case of children and adults, the recommended daily dose of Zatoxin should not be exceeded – it may cause undesirable side effects, including an allergic reaction or digestive system disorders.
Zatoxin – pregnancy and breastfeeding
Despite the fact that Zatoxin consists of plant extracts, during pregnancy and breastfeeding, consult your doctor or pharmacist before using it. However, It is not recommended to take Zatoxin during pregnancy and breastfeeding.
Zatoxin – precautions
Zatoxin should not be used in people who have had an allergic reaction to any component of the preparation. Zatoxin should not be used as a substitute for a varied diet. At present, there are no confirmed data on the influence of Zatoxin on the ability to operate machinery and drive vehicles.
Zatoxin Duo – characteristics
In addition to the classic form of Zatoxin, Zatoxin Duo is also available on the market. It is a dietary supplement that is sold in dual form. What does it mean? The Zatoxin Duo package contains a total of 60 tablets – 30 tablets a day with vitamin B2 and B3 and 30 tablets for the night with melatonin and vitamin C. The use of Zatoxin Duo is aimed at increasing the body’s immunity, strengthening the mucous membranes of the nose and sinuses, and thanks to the melatonin content, ensuring a proper daily sleep cycle, i.e. helping you fall asleep.
Zatoxin Duo daily contains in its composition: bulking agent: cellulose, elderberry flower extract, gentian root extract, verbena herb extract, mullein flower extract, thyme herb extract, Andrographis paniculata leaf extract, niacin (nicotinamide), peppermint leaf extract, licorice root extract, glazing agent: hydroxypropyl methylcellulose, binder: polydextrose, anti-caking agents: silicon dioxide, magnesium salts of fatty acids, vitamin B2 (riboflavin), dye: titanium dioxide, anti-caking agent: talc, medium-chain MCT fatty acids, (oil dyes: iron oxides and hydroxides, tartrazine.
Zatoxin Duo for the night includes in its composition: bulking agent: cellulose, beta-glucans from Saccharomyces cerevisiae yeast, vitamin C (L-ascorbic acid), zinc (zinc lactate), verbena herb extract, mullein flower extract, Andrographis paniculata leaf extract, anise fruit extract, extract from eucalyptus herb, licorice root extract, glazing agent: hydroxypropyl methylcellulose, binder: polydextrose, anti-caking agents: silicon dioxide, magnesium salts of fatty acids, dye: titanium dioxide, melatonin, anti-caking agent: talc, dye: iron oxides and hydroxides fatty acids (MCT oil), selenium (sodium selenate (IV)), dyes: patent blue V, brilliant black BN, black PN.
Compared to the basic form of Zatoxin, Zatoxin Duo is intended for people over 12 years of age, adolescents and adults. Zatoxin Duo should not be used in pregnant and breastfeeding women.
Dosage: children after 12 years of age, adolescents and adults: 1 tablet a day in the morning, after a meal; 1 tablet overnight in the evening.

Zatoxin Rinse – nasal and sinus irrigation set
In addition to the above-mentioned forms of Zatoxin, Zatoxin Rinse is also available – a set for rinsing the nose and sinuses. This is a medical choice that includes a sodium chloride and sodium bicarbonate sachet intended to be dissolved in water. The set includes an irrigation bottle (max. Capacity 300 ml). This preparation is intended for rinsing the nose and sinuses in the following cases:
- in inflammation of the paranasal sinuses,
- in rhinitis of various origins,
- before and after nose and sinus surgeries,
- prophylactically, in order to maintain proper hygiene of the nose and sinuses.
Moreover, Zatoxin Rinse cleanses the nose and sinuses of secretions, allergens, pathogens and moisturizes the mucosa. This type of Zatoxin can be used in children over 4 years of age, adolescents and adults. Nasal rinsing should be carried out 1-2 times a day or as directed by a doctor, prophylactically 2-3 times a week.
