Zaldiar is a drug used in neurology and clinical oncology. It affects the central nervous system, reducing pain of moderate and high intensity. The preparation is available on prescription and is available in the form of coated and effervescent tablets.

Indications for use of the drug Zaldiar
Dosage (the doctor selects the dosage individually for each patient)
- Adults and adolescents after 15 years of age: initially two tablets, subsequent doses may be taken no more frequently than every 6 hours, the maximum dose is eight tablets a day.
- In people over 75 years of age, it should not be used more often than every 6 hours.
- In people with moderate renal impairment, every 12 hours.
- In liver dysfunction, the doctor will recommend extending the intervals between doses.
Zaldiar and contraindications
- hypersensitivity to any component of the preparation,
- acute intoxication with alcohol, hypnotics, centrally acting analgesics (including opioids) or psychotropic drugs,
- epilepsy that does not respond to treatment
- parallel use of MAO inhibitors (tramadol should not be used during and 14 days after treatment with MAO inhibitors),
- severe liver failure,
- kidney problems
- age: children and adolescents up to 15 years of age.
