Your skin in winter: how to be normal

Even soft and delicate skin becomes so problematic in winter. But this is not a cause for excitement, there is simply a summer and winter skin care regimen. It is important to follow some simple rules, and the skin of the face and body will look perfect!

Prefer warm water over hot water. This is difficult to do in the cold season, but it is necessary, because hot water dries the skin, and no body milk will save it.

Turn off the water when you are going to use the washcloth. This will not only reduce steam, but also cleanse the skin more effectively than under running water. Finish your shower with cold water. It helps to tighten pores, normalizes blood circulation and gives a burst of energy.

To make the skin as smooth as silk, to increase the tone of the body, and even to lose weight, a bath will help. You need to go to it once a week, then the pores will be cleansed and the skin moisturized.

Perfectly disperses blood and exfoliates the skin body massage with a stiff brush. Perform it on a dry body before water treatments. Gently massage into the skin in a circular motion. Then take a shower and feel the ease with which the body breathes. Be sure to apply a moisturizer or nourishing cream.

Nuance: if you like oil more, apply it to damp skin, and then blot it with a towel, then the product will nourish the skin literally from the inside. Or try this: apply oil before and after your bath.

Even for oily skin in cold seasons, opt for mild facial cleansers. Gentle foams will wash away cosmetics and impurities while nourishing the skin.

If irritation occurs, special lotions and tonics will help. But exclude any alcohol-containing products, they will only aggravate the problem: they will dry out the skin and provoke flaking.

And remember: cleansing does not mean active use of peels. In winter, the skin is under stress and needs nourishment. If detoxification is needed, use only delicate peels and always in combination with nourishing masks.

In winter, the skin of the face often suffers from dehydration and dryness. You can feel this when getting out of the shower: if in the summer you could do without a cream for a few minutes, then in winter the skin needs instant hydration, otherwise a feeling of tightness and peeling appears. Well, do not deny this request to the skin, apply the cream immediately after washing, and it will retain its softness.

A small nuance: the face cream can be applied directly to damp skin. At first, this procedure will seem uncomfortable, but soon the cream will be absorbed and the skin will feel more hydrated.

If the skin on the elbows becomes dry and rough, you can walk over it with a hard washcloth, and then generously apply a nourishing cream.

In addition, it is useful to make baths for the elbows from heated vegetable oil. To do this, you can choose any oil that is at home: olive, peach, corn. Simply heat it to a pleasantly warm temperature, pour it into two bowls, and place your elbows there for about 15 minutes.
