Yellow clay

You can visit the spa resort without leaving your home – and without any special financial costs. If for one reason or another you will breathe air during your vacation on the living room balcony, do not be upset: get ready to impress your colleagues with a healthy and blooming look. We tell you how yellow clay will help with this.

Properties and features of yellow clay for facial skin

My vacation plan is something like this: get enough sleep, read interesting book novelties, master recipes that have been hanging in bookmarks for half a year and, of course, arrange a spa at home. As for the latter, I think so. I will buy cosmetic clay and I will make face and body masks.

I plan to buy several types of clay at once, because their purpose is different.

  • White and pink soothe the skin, strengthen it.

  • Gray – tones.

  • Blue – activates metabolic processes, gently cleanses and exfoliates.

  • Green is an excellent tool to combat imperfections, it cleanses and mattifies the skin well.

As for the yellow clay for the face, then, according to Garnier expert, dermatologist Marina Kamanina, this substance:

  • has a detox effect;

  • reduces imperfections;

  • Helps fight orange peel.

Our quiz will help you find out if you’re taking good care of your skin.

By the way, yellow clay is actively used in medicine – as part of complex therapy for the treatment of migraines, diseases of the kidneys, joints, gastrointestinal tract, etc., but more on that another time. Let’s go back to our home spa.

A yellow clay mask is something you should try at least once in your life.

How yellow clay mask works on the skin

I am sure that yellow clay mask should be tried at least once in a lifetime. I have already mentioned some of its useful properties. I will add that yellow clay:

  • absorbs impurities and gently removes them from the skin;

  • stimulates cell renewal;

  • saturates the skin with valuable trace elements due to the content of iron, copper and potassium;

  • improves tone, which shows an excellent result on aging skin;

  • has an antiseptic effect.

How to apply yellow clay face mask

Yellow clay is not as popular as, for example, blue and green, it is less common in nature and in stores. However, preparing a mask with it is not at all difficult, and the result will be outstanding. A few tips.
  1. Of course, it is recommended to use fresh clay – made from loose powder.

  2. Dilute the powder with warm water, milk or herbal decoction in a glass or ceramic dish.

  3. Stir until smooth. You can optionally add other ingredients – plant extracts, vitamins, oils.

  4. Apply the mask first on the wrist or in the crook of the elbow. If after a few minutes there is no irritation or burning sensation, the product can be used on the face and body.

  5. When applying the mask, avoid the areas around the eyes and lips.

  6. Keep the mask on your face for no longer than 10-15 minutes. Do not worry – during this time, the nutritional components will have time to act.

  7. Don’t wait until the mask is completely dry and cracking! Rinse off the clay as soon as it starts to dry. It is better to do this with water at a comfortable temperature. The sponge will make things easier.

  8. For optimal results, use the Yellow Clay Mask regularly, 1-2 times a week for three weeks.

Such clay is not suitable for masks: the powder should be crumbly.

Противопоказания

Perhaps, only individual intolerance to yellow clay or other components of the mask can be a direct contraindication. For dry skin, it is desirable to supplement the clay mask with oils.
