Xenna Balance – characteristics

Xenna Balance is a medical device used to treat chronic constipation. This measure balances the rhythm of bowel movements and supports the digestive process. Xenna Balance supports intestinal peristalsis, stimulates the colon and stimulates the muscles to excite and defecate. Xenna Balance is sold in the form of powder sachets for the preparation of a drinking solution.

Xenna Balance – composition

1 sachet of Xenna Balance medical device contains 13,81 g of powder:

  1. macrogol (PE6) 3350 — 13,125 g
  2. sodium chloride – 0,3507 g
  3. sodium bicarbonate – 0,1785 g
  4. potassium chloride – 0,0466 g

Macrogol binds water in the intestine and thus increases the volume of fluids and loosens the faeces, thus has an osmotic effect. When stool volume increases, colon motility and neuromuscular stimulation are stimulated. The effect of this stimulation is the rapid emptying of the colon. The macrogolone contained in Xenna Balance helps to expel the softened stool by acting locally in the large intestine. The osmotic effect of macrogol is responsible for the laxative effect. The electrolytes contained in the preparation counteract water and electrolyte disturbances during long-term use.
