Wrinkle-free: 8 Easy Exercises for Every Day

To keep your skin toned, do not forget to do self-massage from time to time.

Facial massage is best done in the evening, after removing makeup. To make your fingers glide better and not unnecessarily stretch the skin, it is necessary to use a cream or oil.

If you have dry skin, use olive oil, linseed oil, or wheat germ oil. If normal, a regular night cream. If oily – talcum powder or baby powder, as products containing fats can provoke irritation and pimples.

Remember that some creams tend to clump, so choose another or switch to butter. Moisten your fingers with tonic from time to time during the massage. 

Step 1

Stroking with fingertips along the massage lines of the face – from the chin to the earlobe, from the corners of the mouth to the ear tragus, from the bridge of the nose along the zygomatic bone to the upper edge of the ear, from the middle of the forehead to the temples. Then stroking the neck with the entire palm in the direction from the collarbone to the chin. 8-10 times.

Step 2

“Glasses”. Stroking with the middle and ring fingers on the upper eyelid from the inner corner of the eye to the outside, along the lower – vice versa. 3 times.

“Eights”. The outer corner of the eye, in which small wrinkles (“crow’s feet”) are formed, are massaged with the middle and ring fingers, as if drawing a figure eight. 10 times.

Step 3

When the muscles of the face are already warmed up enough, we perform exercises to keep them in good shape.

Exercise 1. Intensively stretch the lips with a tube, as when pronouncing the sound “y”, then just as intensely “pronounce” the sound “and”. 10 times.

Exercise 2. Closing our teeth, we pull down the lower jaw, while simultaneously stretching the corners of the mouth, as if trying to pronounce the sound “y”. 10 times.

Step 4

Knead the area between the eyebrows with spiral movements from bottom to top to the middle of the forehead. Then – from the middle of the forehead to the temples. Then – along the massage lines of the face, the same as in stage 1. 5 times.

Step 5

To relieve puffiness around the eyes, press on the upper edge of the orbit – light at first, then more and more. 3 times.

Step 6

Patting the fingertips along the massage lines – from the center of the face and back. Then – intense patting in the chin area with the back of the hands. 5-10 times.

After the massage, make a mask – drying clay (for oily skin), disinfectant, nourishing or any other, wipe your face with tonic and apply a night cream.

For dry and normal skin, the mask can be replaced with such a compress: heat the same oil with which you did the massage in a water bath to a pleasantly warm temperature, moisten a cotton napkin with it and apply it to your face for 10 minutes, then blot the remaining oil.
