What does a deer haircut look like?
The deer wren, also known as deer hairdresser, is an insect commonly referred to as tick with wings – is very similar to him. It is also known as a hunter or a deer louse. This small insect, about 5–6 mm in size, has wings and a brown, flattened body with strong legs and claws. Since the chitinous shell is very hard, it is difficult to crush it. When shearing hairs, or «flying ticks«, They will find a host, lose their wings and stick firmly to the skin, making them difficult to pull out.

«Flying Ticks» – where can you find them?
“Flying ticks” are quite numerous throughout the country. They live in forests and their edges. They usually appear from June to September, but if the autumn is warm and rainless, they can roam even October or November.
Worms parasitize forest animals such as elk, badgers, roe deer and deer. They bite into their skin, throw their wings back, and sip blood. Unfortunately “Flying ticks” also attack humans. They lurk mainly around paths trodden by animals.

Symptoms of a worm bite
Flying ticks even gather in swarms, and their bite is very painful. The size of the wrenches makes them easy to enter the ears, nose, or under the eyelid. Thanks to the legs with hooks at the ends, they cling to the scalp, between the hair, which makes it difficult to braid them out. When they attach themselves to their host, they lose their wings and begin to drink its blood.

The lesion formed on the skin after a flying tick bite may persist for months.
Worm deer are oviparous, which means that after copulation they give birth to larvae on their prey. These fall to the ground and thus wait for the next feeding season. Since man is not the target victim of “flying ticks”, they do not reproduce on it, but treat it as a transitional stage before finding a new victim.
Initially bitten by a flying tick place it itches, only on the second day it starts to hurt. The itchy lump formed on the skin may persist for a long time, on average 2-3 weeks. Sometimes, however, ecchymosis lasts up to a year. Over time, some people may develop an allergic reaction with severe reddening of the skin that can last for several months.
To reduce the symptoms that appear after insect bites, it is worth drinking BOLLERIOFIX – herbal tea regularly. It strengthens the immune response and supports the fight against free radicals, so the body can cope with all ailments faster.
What diseases can sheaths transmit?
Worms are dangerous because they can transmit bacteria that cause diseases and skin lesions. Some sources say that worms may be carriers of microorganisms that cause anaplasmosis and Lyme disease. However, it has not been shown that flying ticks can transmit these diseases to humans. Despite this fact, worm bites can be dangerous, especially for young children and people allergic to the venom of these insects. They may develop a severe skin reaction as well as breathing problems.
While it is better to be careful with “flying ticks”, we should be especially careful with real ticks. Their bites do not hurt, sometimes they do not leave any marks, but they can result in serious diseases. Common diseases carried by common ticks in Poland are health and sometimes life-threatening, Lyme disease or tick-borne encephalitis.

How to protect yourself from hair clippers?
Unfortunately, it has not yet been proven that popular mosquito, fluff and tick repellants also work against worms. There are also no home ways to protect yourself from these creatures. However, it is worth remembering to wear light clothes when going to the forest, because the worms attack darkly colored victims. Clothing made of slippery material can make it difficult for them to attack. Unfortunately, no clothing can guarantee that we will protect ourselves against them. The size of flying ticks makes them able to squeeze into every smallest gap.
