World Without Tears is a charitable program of VTB Bank. On March 16, one of her actions took place at the N.V. Dmitrieva in Ryazan.
As part of the program, a set of equipment for the treatment of ophthalmic diseases was donated to the hospital: Vizatronic MH for the treatment of accommodation spasm and myopia; apparatus “Synaptophore” for the treatment of strabismus and a set of endoscopic instruments. The cost of the equipment was 1 rubles. The event was attended by Vladimir Grachev, First Deputy Minister of Health of the Ryazan Region, and Elena Sorokina, Deputy Head of the Ryazan City Administration.
“It is a great success that Ryazan has become one of the cities participating in the VTB Bank’s charitable program. We have already developed a long-term tradition of cooperation with the bank: VTB provides assistance to our veterans, kindergartens, and cultural institutions. I hope we will continue to work together in various areas of charity in the future, and VTB will serve as an example of social responsibility for other organizations in our country, ”Elena Borisovna emphasized.
“The equipment is intended for the consultative and diagnostic center of the outpatient structural unit of the hospital. This medical complex is necessary for the non-surgical correction of strabismus and other visual impairments, which is especially important for babies. At the same time, in order to expand the possibilities of performing operations with endoscopic access, it is planned to purchase a series of laparoscopic equipment. This will shorten the time of the operation and reduce the length of stay of the child in the clinic, as well as help reduce the risk of postoperative complications, ”emphasized Inna Lebedeva, chief physician of the N.V. Dmitrieva.
“In Ryazan, the World Without Tears campaign was first held in 2014. Then as a gift to the Children’s Regional Clinical Hospital named after N.V. Dmitrieva Bank VTB handed over a medical complex for the rehabilitation of children with musculoskeletal disorders. For 15 years now, we have been helping children’s hospitals from Kaliningrad to Vladivostok in purchasing the necessary medical equipment. This year, VTB has allocated more than 40 million rubles to provide financial assistance to healthcare institutions, ”said Alexander Erofeev, Head of the Sponsorship and Client Events Department and Vice President of VTB Bank, during a press conference.
“VTB Bank is actively working in the Ryazan Region, supporting regional enterprises and the implementation of significant projects. In addition to achievements in business development, VTB’s social policy is also important, which is an integral part of the Bank’s strategy, and we always pay special attention to supporting children. It is gratifying that VTB has the opportunity to give positive emotions to the little patients of the hospital, because sometimes this helps no worse than drugs and medical equipment. We look forward to further cooperation with the region in supporting healthcare and social projects in general, ”said Ruslan Eremenko, Head of the Corporate Network Department – Senior Vice President of VTB Bank.
On this day, according to tradition, not only the hospital received a gift, but also all small patients. Characters of the legendary TV show “Good night, kids!” Together with Filia, Stepashka and their senior friend, Honored Artist of Russia Natalia Golubentseva, the guys went in search of treasures. Children were waiting for incredible tricks from the famous Mad Hatter, clever riddles and funny contests. After the treasured chest was opened, each kid received a personal “chest” with a drawing kit as a gift.
