October 16 is World Bread Day. Since 2006, every year hundreds of bloggers around the world have baked bread to celebrate this day. The date of the celebration of the eighth edition of this event is approaching, so we are going to do it again, we are going to make and share a homemade bread.
The countdown begins, October is the month in which World Bread Day is celebrated, and we are already on the eighth edition. On October 16, as has happened every year since 2006, gastronomic blogs around the world who love this food, from its preparation to its tasting, make bread that day, especially to celebrate a day proclaimed by the International Federation of Bakers (UIB).
World Bread Day 2013 will once again be a day in which professional bakers and home bakers promote the consumption of bread, and within our possibilities, also its preparation.
Bread has been a staple since ancient times, all cultures have their traditional breads and many are shared today. In large part it is thanks to the internet, because we can share our bread recipes with gastronomy lovers from all over the world, they can be more or less authentic (when talking about classic or traditional breads), but in any case, when making it you are enjoying homemade bread, made with love, care and with natural ingredients.
