With what to serve caviar for the New Year

Caviar for the New Year’s table is already a tradition. Of course, today many can afford to eat caviar not only for the winter holidays. But it is already impossible to imagine the New Year without sandwiches with butter and caviar. What else can you eat caviar with?

– The easiest way to serve is to put caviar on the table in a caviar dish or salad bowl, put it on ice and put a small spoon.

– The most common accompaniment to red caviar is butter and pastries – bread, lavash or profiteroles. Profiteroles are filled with butter or cheese (mascarpone, Philadelphia) and red caviar.

– Olives, green peas, avocado, lemon and greens can be added to white bread toast sandwiches to caviar – they go well with caviar. You can also place the bread using crackers, tartlet baskets, or whole grain diet breads.

– Red caviar goes well with eggs – because of their fairly neutral taste. Boil hard-boiled eggs, cut in half, remove the yolk, mash it with a fork and mix with cream or butter, salt. Stuff the eggs with the yolk and top with the red caviar.

If you cook about serving red caviar with vegetables, then you need to take into account their taste – it should also be neutral, so as not to interrupt the specifics of the main ingredient. For example, tomatoes themselves have a bright flavor. Suitable for caviar:

– Cucumber, which can be used as a base stuffing with salty cream cheese and fish delicacy.

– Potatoes, which can be fried until golden brown or made from pancakes. Potatoes can be baked in the form of hemispheres, removing the middle, and then stuffed with butter and red caviar. Or you can make crispy potato chips.

– Also serve with an avocado drizzled with lemon juice and lined with caviar.

Red caviar can be part of Japanese sushi – nigiri, gunkans, or just bags of seaweed stuffed with red caviar.

Another way to serve red caviar is filled pancakes. They can be served separately from caviar, or wrapped in the form of a tube, envelope, bag, and also make a pancake cake with cream cheese and red caviar.
