Herbal Recipes for skin care

Turmeric for cleansing
The beneficial properties of turmeric for the skin are widely used in modern cosmetology. You can also prepare effective masks from this spice at home. Absolutely for all skin types, a mask made of turmeric and milk is suitable. Mix 2 tbsp oatmeal, 1/4 tsp turmeric, 1 tsp honey and 1 tbsp milk in a bowl. Apply the resulting mass to the cleansed skin of the face and wash it off after 10-15 minutes with warm water.
Turmeric is especially useful for the skin of the face with black dots. Mix 1 tbsp oatmeal, 1 tbsp chopped lentils in a blender and 1/2 tsp turmeric. Add such an amount of water to the mixture that it gets the consistency of thick sour cream. Massage the mask into the problem areas and leave it for 15-20 minutes. Since turmeric has a coloring effect, it is not recommended to make such masks before going out. They are not suitable for owners of too light skin.
Cinnamon for perfect skin
Spicy cinnamon is rich in antioxidants that slow down aging at the cellular level. In addition, it has a tonic and regenerating effect, so the cinnamon mask for the skin of the face is a real elixir of youth. To prepare it, lightly beat one egg white, add 5-7 drops of orange oil, 1 tsp honey, 1 tsp cinnamon and mix thoroughly. The resulting mass is applied to the prepared skin of the face for 10-15 minutes, after which it is washed off first with warm, and then with cold water. This cinnamon face mask is ideal for mature skin.
And the girls who got the problem skin, will help the mask from acne with cinnamon. Mix 1 tsp of crushed nutmeg, liquid flower honey,lemon juice and cinnamon in a bowl. Rub the mask into the skin and leave it for 25-30 minutes. Then wash off the remnants with warm water.
Ginger for rejuvenation
The miraculous properties of ginger have found application not only in cooking and medicine, but also in home cosmetology. It is not surprising that this ingredient is often added to recipes for facial skin rejuvenation. To prepare the ginger mask, in the bowl of a blender, mix 1 cup of fresh spinach, 1/4 cup of mint leaves and a 3 cm long ginger root. Turn the ingredients into a homogeneous mass, add a ripe crushed banana, 3 tbsp. l. honey and beat the mixture again. Apply the mask on the cleansed face for 20 minutes, then rinse with warm water. By the way, you can store this mixture in the refrigerator for three weeks without losing its valuable properties.
Ginger makes an excellent whitening mask. To do this, mix 1 tsp of essential oils of rose, grapefruit, almond and 1 cm of grated ginger root. The resulting mass is rubbed into the skin of the face and washed off with warm water after 15 minutes.
Bay leaf for tone
In folk recipes for facial skin rejuvenation, the usual bay leaf is often used as a key component. From it, you can prepare a tonic lotion for every day. To do this, pour 15-20 bay leaves with half a glass of water, boil for 5 minutes, and then insist for 4 hours. If the skin is prone to greasiness, you can add 2 tablespoons of vodka to the lotion. Using a cotton pad, rub it into the skin of the face and the decollete area in the morning and evening, then leave it to dry completely.
Bay leaf for the skin of the face can also be used as a moisturizer. Prepare a similar bay broth and dilute in it 1 tbsp. l. gelatin, then insist for 10-15 minutes. Next, pour in 1 tbsp. l. glycerin and mix vigorously. Apply the resulting mass to the skin of the face, stand for 20 minutes and rinse with warm water.
Mustard for freshness
Among the spices for facial skin care, mustard occupies a special place. And all thanks to the moisturizing vitamin A, rejuvenating vitamin E, toning vitamin D and soothing essential oils. Mustard masks are very effective, but are contraindicated for sensitive skin. Before using them, it is necessary to test them on the wrist. A mask made of mustard and sour cream will help against wrinkles, puffiness and age spots. Mix in a bowl 1 tsp mustard powder, 1 tbsp sour cream and 5-7 chopped sprigs of parsley. Apply the mask on the face for no more than 10 minutes and rinse with warm water.
And you can also make a refreshing mask from mustard. Pour a glass of water 7-9 rose petals, bring to a boil and stand for 10 minutes. Cool and filter the broth, add 1 tsp mustard powder, 1 tsp honey and mashed cucumber. Mix the mask and apply it to the clean skin of the face for 10-15 minutes, then rinse with warm water.
