Briefly about the manufacturer

Varieties for the production of wines were brought in the XIX century from France. These are traditional Bordeaux: Cabernet Sauvignon, Sauvignon Blanc, Sémillon, Merlot and Carmenère.

On the fertile soils of Chile, the vines took root and began to produce excellent yields.

At first, drinks were produced for sales within the country, but over time, the scale of production grew, which led to a natural entry into foreign markets.

Holland was the first to conquer, and after the introduction of new production technologies, Concha y Toro products appeared in other countries of Europe and Asia.

In the manufacture of wines, the company practices classical processing methods:

  1. Manual harvesting of raw materials when they reach a high degree of maturity.

  2. Extraction and distillation on modern equipment.

  3. Aging in oak barrels or neutral containers (the period depends on the category of the drink).

  4. Clogging with natural cork.

  5. Strict control of indicators at all stages of production.
