Description of the strawberry “Vima Zanta”
“Zanta” is considered the most delicious variety of garden strawberries. The pulp of the berries is sweet, without sourness, with a light caramel aroma. Fruits tolerate transportation well and keep their shape for a long time, therefore “Zantu” is often grown for sale. The variety is versatile and suitable both for fresh consumption and further processing and freezing.
On average, the mass of berries reaches 40–45 g. The color of the fruits is dull red, the shape is regular cone-shaped
The main advantage of “Vima Zanta” can be considered a high yield of the variety. With proper care for the season, up to 600-800 g of fruits are harvested from one bush. The plant is quite unpretentious and has a strong immunity to most diseases, although it often suffers from powdery mildew. “Vima Zanta” has average indicators of frost resistance, therefore, in regions with a cold climate, it is recommended to cover the plant for the winter.
Strawberry variety “Vima Rina”
A distinctive feature of the variety is the incredible sweetness of the berries. Bushes begin to bear fruit from the first year after planting. The harvesting period is long and is divided into two stages. The first takes place in early June, the second in August. At the same time, you can harvest the fruits almost until the very frost. But if you grow strawberries in a greenhouse, then harvesting can take place from mid-April until the New Year.
The berries of the variety are bright red in color and have a regular conical shape. Average weight reaches 35 g
The yield of the variety is quite high. Up to 800 g of berries can be harvested from one bush. The fruits tolerate transportation well and retain their attractive presentation for a long time. Therefore, Rina is often grown commercially for sale. The variety is quite unpretentious in care and tolerates all climatic changes well.
Characteristics of “Vima Xima”
The main difference of the variety is the gigantic size of the berries. On average, one fruit reaches 60-120 g in weight. The color is dark red, the shape is cone-shaped or comb-shaped. The variety is mid-season, the fruits ripen in mid-late July.
“Vima Xima” cannot be called too sweet variety, because berries contain a moderate amount of acid. But the lack of sugar is compensated by the rich strawberry aroma.
The yield of the variety is high, from one bush you can collect 700-900 g of fruit. They have good transportability, long shelf life. Ksima belongs to frost-hardy picky varieties with high immunity to diseases. Therefore, garden strawberries can be grown in any region of our country. But to get a good harvest, you need to pay some attention to the culture.
This variety belongs to the late ones. The yield of “Tarda” is quite high, up to 10 tons of berries can be harvested from one hectare. Strawberry bushes are powerful and spreading, with a fairly wide crown. The flower stalks are strong and can support the weight of the ripening fruit on their own.
The berries are large in size and have a deep dark red color with a glossy sheen. On average, their mass reaches 40 g. The taste is very sweet, without sourness, the aroma is pronounced strawberry
The main advantage of the variety is its unpretentiousness and ability to withstand both very hot weather and severe frost. But in order to achieve a high yield, it is recommended to carry out all the necessary agrotechnical measures, as well as periodically feed the plants. The variety does not have strong immunity to diseases and pests, therefore it is recommended to carry out preventive spraying.
