PSYchology

Dr. William Sears and his wife Martha have raised eight children and have written dozens of books that are read by parents all over the world.

Not limited to childcare, the Sears write about the importance of a shared approach to parenting, which they refer to as «approach style.» Listening to the child, feeling his needs, focusing on your parental intuition — these simple ideas turned out to be a real discovery for many moms and dads in the early 1990s. The Sears spouses wrote a new book, having already become grandparents, and summarized their almost thirty years of parenting experience in it. According to the authors, many of the problems of upbringing are based on our insensitivity, the inability to understand ourselves, and even more so the thoughts and actions of our children. This book is mainly devoted to the establishment of true relationships in the family, the ability to reckon with each other.
