Why you should never wash the floor with an old T-shirt
It is forbidden to use an outdated towel for these purposes – otherwise you can cause a lot of problems.
In stores, you can now buy rags for anything: for dust, for a table, for mirrors, for the floor. But we still haven’t formed the habit of buying such things. After all, for decades in our homes it was customary to use outdated T-shirts, pillowcases, and towels for cleaning. And then suddenly spend money on some rags?
Energy waste
But astrologers and esotericists warn: cleaning must be done correctly, otherwise it is easy to bring trouble on yourself.
First of all, garbage must be removed not only material, but also energy. He is not visible, but he spoils life pretty much. To deal with it, rune magician advises to apply all four elements: water – when wet cleaning, air – when airing, earth, that is, detergents, fire – an ordinary candle will do.
First you need to clean up, as usual: wash, wipe. And then go around the apartment, holding a lighted candle. You need to move clockwise from the front door – so go around the whole apartment, cross every corner, door and window with a candle three times. When you return to the front door, you also need to cross it with a candle three times and put the candle somewhere in the hallway for 3-5 minutes, then extinguish.
“This procedure should be carried out once a month. If in the apartment there is a feeling that the walls are crushing, it is impossible to relax, then perform the ritual for three days in a row. The best time for this is the waning moon, ”explains Lana Rempel.
Not a T-shirt
“For cleaning the floors, many housewives use a used towel and sometimes clothes. I want to note that if you have a girl in your house, then you should not do this – your daughter will be doomed to loneliness and will never marry, ”says the rune magician.
The expert advises to replace the towel with a commercially available rag for cleaning the floor. Or buy a separate towel just for this purpose and use it only for cleaning the floor, for nothing else.
But this is not the only reason why you shouldn’t use your belongings for cleaning. T-shirts, T-shirts, old shirts – you should never use them to wash the floor, and this is more serious than marriage.
“This is unacceptable, as it leads to illness. It will certainly twist the illness and will never let go, ”predicts Liana Rempel.
But an old cotton curtain, for example, or another neutral thing can be used for cleaning, it will not harm either the hostess or other household members.

Scientists are also opposed to using old things for cleaning. According to experts, this is unhygienic, because bacteria proliferate in rags, among which there may be E.coli, and even staphylococcus aureus. Not to mention the fact that some fabrics do not have hygroscopic properties (the ability of a material to absorb and release moisture) and will simply smear dirt with water over the surface. Therefore, an unambiguous advice is to use specially designed rags for cleaning.
