Oatmeal has many beneficial elements, but it can still burn you. There are several reasons for it, which depend both on the body and on the oatmeal itself.

  • Individual characteristics of the body that do not allow you to tolerate oatmeal. These can be congenital pathologies or hereditary diseases.
  • The product is not cooked properly and is burnt. Burnt products have a negative effect on the gastric mucosa.
  • Sometimes additional dietary supplements trigger heartburn. They can be oatmeal, muesli, as well as the porridge itself with milk.
  • Groats are improperly processed and stored. In production, additional chemical elements are sometimes added that affect the formation of heartburn after consumption.

Recommendation… Groats need to be bought whole or crushed. It takes about 20 minutes to prepare it, but the body will receive useful substances from the product, and there will be no heartburn.
