In fact, the most important advice is one: hurry up to give the phone to a service center or a seller under warranty. There is practically no adequate reason why a new phone will be discharged at the speed of light, and this will not be the fault of a factory defect or some serial problem. What it could be: a faulty battery that will be quickly changed in the service, an error in the operation of the charge controllers on the motherboard or on the same battery. A software error may also be to blame: in fact, the battery is fully charged, but the operating software does not see this, and considers that the phone cannot work.
