Boys and girls are more different than you think. And the first differences appear even before birth.

1. Higher risk of getting sick

The average height of a boy at birth is 50-52 cm, for a girl – from 49 to 51 cm. Accordingly, the weight is greater. And the larger the fetus, the more difficult it is to give birth, the higher the risk of rupture. The likelihood of an emergency caesarean section is also higher if a boy is born. 5. Higher risk of neurological disorders
Statistics claim that boys are more likely to be diagnosed with ADHD – attention deficit hyperactivity disorder. The root of the problem here lies in the peculiarities of the intrauterine development of the fetus. During pregnancy, a very important substance is produced – sperm. If its concentration is too low, then the risk of abnormal development of the fetus, neurological abnormalities in the baby increases. And most often the sperm level drops if a woman is wearing a boy. In the case of a girl’s pregnancy, the level of this substance, on the contrary, can go off scale, and then there is a risk of developing preeclampsia, one of the most dangerous complications during pregnancy.
