There are no mushrooms in the forest because everything has already been stolen before us. This is humor, of course. In fact, it is not in vain that people say: “He who loves to bow will not be left without prey.” To collect a full basket of mushrooms, you need to look carefully, carefully, and even better – prepare in advance, because each mushroom also chooses its “living space” for a reason.
You will never find white mushrooms in a newly planted grove. Why?
White fungus loves old (over 50 years old) noble forests (oak, pine, birch).
Aspen mushrooms love moist soils and low grass. The forest can be any, but the obligatory “neighbor” of these tasty mushrooms should be an aspen growing nearby.
Boletus boletus just as vehemently defend their name, in any birch forest you will meet their clearing: among rare-growing trees on a hill – specimens with thick legs and a dense hat, in a “dense” forest with moist soil – light boletus with a loose “body”.
Pine forests have been chosen not only by porcini mushrooms, butterflies, mushrooms, chanterelles, russula, greenfinches and others joyfully flutter out of the ground.
Well, now you have studied the necessary information, gathered, arrived in the selected forest and left. Go, look, but there are still no mushrooms. Why are there no mushrooms?
The reasons can be several:
It hasn’t been a good rain for a long time. The mushroom picker needs moisture and a comfortable temperature to begin to bear fruit. During a drought, she simply has no where to get the strength to help her wards grow. No wonder they say about a heavy downpour: “Oh, but the rain is mushroom.” Therefore, your campaign for prey should be planned taking into account the weather forecast.
You look bad. Inexperienced mushroom pickers are looking for mushrooms, looking into the distance with hope. So you can only find large and old specimens, and young and strong ones will remain under your feet – side by side in the grass. Actively, but carefully, wield the stick so as not to miss the treasure.
The weather has been cloudy and cool in recent days. Mushrooms grow very fast. Most reach a decent size in three to five days, and some manage to grow a couple of centimeters even within one day. But this requires favorable conditions: first of all, warm weather.
You are looking for mushrooms in the evening. Mushrooms grow fastest at night, so in the morning you can already collect the “young growth”. Experienced mushroom pickers do just that – they go to the forest before lunch. When lovers of quiet hunting gather in the same forest in the evening, it will be quite difficult for them to find something: those mushrooms that were already collected, and new ones have not yet grown.
Now you are prepared and armed, it is quite possible to go for the ingredients for a delicious dinner.
