Whole baked pink salmon will be a decoration for both festive and everyday tables. It can be served with vegetables, rice or pasta. In addition, it is permissible to use such fish not only as a main hot dish, but also as a cold snack.

Pink salmon baked with potatoes

For baking, choose pink salmon that weighs less than 1 kg. Small fish will bake evenly, it will turn out juicy and tender. This recipe can also be used to cook silver carp or pike perch.

Take the following ingredients:

  • 1 whole pink salmon
  • 60 g sour cream
  • sunflower or corn oil
  • salt
  • ground black pepper
  • spices to taste
  • fresh vegetables
  • lemon
  • olives
  • 1 kg of potatoes

Rinse the pink salmon under water, free it from the scales and remove the entrails. Remove the gills. Carefully dissect the fish along the ridge. Cut the main bone in the center and carefully remove the fish to prevent it from falling apart.

Put sour cream in a separate bowl, add spices, salt, grease the pink salmon with this mixture from the outside and from the inside. Place baking paper or foil on a baking sheet, and place the fish on top. Bend your head and tail slightly if necessary.

Preheat the oven to 180-190 degrees. Peel the potatoes, cut them into 4 pieces, brush with oil, spices and place near the pink salmon. Bake for 30 minutes, then reduce heat to 110 degrees and cook for another 10 minutes. Decorate the finished dish with lemon wedges, olives.

Serve whole on a large flat platter, garnished with fresh vegetables

Wash the pink salmon under water, cut off its head, fins and remove all the insides. Make transverse incisions in the skin. Insert lemon wedges into the holes. Season with salt and pepper.

Place the foil in a baking dish and brush the coating with vegetable oil using a silicone brush. Place the fish on top, bake for 30 minutes in the oven at 160-170 degrees. Then remove the foil and cook for another 10 minutes. As soon as a golden brown crust forms on the surface of the pink salmon, remove it, place it on a flat dish or tray, sprinkle generously with chopped dill and serve.

Stuffed pink salmon with mushrooms and vegetables

Thanks to the filling, pink salmon according to this recipe turns out to be fragrant, juicy and tender.

For cooking, you will need the following set of products:

  • 1 salmon

  • 170 g butter
  • 90 ml vegetable or olive oil
  • 300-400 g mushrooms
  • 1 whole lemon
  • 100 g of cheese

Rinse the pink salmon, pat dry with a towel and gut. Rub inside and out with coarse salt, then pepper. Peel the mushrooms, cut them into thin slices. Chop the onions. Fry it in butter for 2-3 minutes, add mushrooms to the vegetable and cook everything together for another 10 minutes. Cool it down.

Chop the herbs, grate the cheese on a coarse grater. Combine the ingredients together and fill the fish. Sew up the belly with cooking thread. Lay the foil on a baking sheet, grease it with oil and carefully transfer the pink salmon. Make several cuts in the skin, insert lemon slices into the holes, pour over with vegetable oil. Preheat the oven to 180 degrees, place the fish there on a baking sheet and bake for 30-40 minutes. Serve garnished with red caviar, olives and skewered olives.
