Coronavirus infection capacity is most often proportional to the form of symptoms. When someone has no symptoms – it decreases, it is most infected by coughing people – virologist Prof. Włodzimierz Gut.
On Sunday, the Ministry of Health said research confirmed coronavirus infection in another 4728 people. 93 sick people died. On Saturday, it was 5965 infected and 283 dead, respectively.
«Now we will see what the effects of the next loosening will be, but that’s only about a week from now»- told PAP virologist prof. Włodzimierz Gut.
Asked why there is no increase in the rate of return to school for children in grades I-III, he said, “The contagious capacity is most often proportional to the form of symptoms. This means that if someone is asymptomatic, his infectious capacity decreases; He becomes infected the most from coughing and the least from the one who has nothing. Everything else is a matter of solutions, keeping distance and maintaining security »- he noted. He added that the spread of the virus depends on the behavior of both sides.

In the opinion of prof. Guta can only loosen the restrictions by trial and error and “nobody will take responsibility for everyone”. «We let go of something, when people behave decently and follow the rules, most often you can let go of the next ones. And if not – it needs to be restored »- he said. However, he pointed out that the restored restrictions are stronger than the previous ones.
On Friday, the head of the Ministry of Health, Adam Niedzielski, said that 90 percent were vaccinated. doctors. He called on patients to return to regular visits to doctors and to preventive examinations. In the opinion of prof. Guta, thanks to the high vaccinations among doctors and medical personnel, ensured the efficiency of the health service.
«It was the most important task (…) to avoid the situation in Italy, where the number of deaths increased by 30%. of which only a few percent was the increase caused by COVID »- he emphasized. He added that other diseases can now be dealt with without fear that the physician will infect the patient or the physician’s patient with COVID-19.
