— The statistics in our hospital are quite alarming in such a short period of time. People who are not vaccinated die from the information I receive. In the case of the vaccinated, these are people who have comorbidities – such as cancers. In our hospital, two people who died for reasons other than COVID-19 had cancer. Coronavirus hastened the end of life – said the president of the County Hospital in Ryki Piotr Kienig.
– I can confirm what is said about this wave, that there is a high mortality, especially among unvaccinated people, a short incubation time of the virus and the patient’s collapse. Previously, such a patient stayed in the ward for about 13-14 days and the prognosis was good. But now it turns out that after five days there is a breakdown and it is often the case that these patients do not recover, ‘added Kienig.
Currently, the hospital in Ryki no longer has vacancies for COVID-19 patients.
On Wednesday, the Ministry of Health announced 8. 361 new cases of coronavirus infection, most of them were in Mazovia and the Lublin region. New infections in the province. there was 1632 in Lublin.
