Who can pick up a child from kindergarten: application, agreement, power of attorney
Some parents do not know who can pick up their child from kindergarten and therefore ask friends or their other children to pick them up from kindergarten. But not all people can take a child out of kindergarten. The law of the Russian Federation says that there is a certain category of persons who can do this. Of course, you can try to negotiate with the teacher, but if this is found, the director of the garden will pay a fine.
Who can pick up a child from the garden
Although the legislation says about this, it is vague, so often kindergartens try to protect themselves, and parents must sign an agreement for the provision of kindergarten services. It may also specify which persons can pick up the child.
There is a certain circle of people who can pick up a child from kindergarten. These are usually parents or a confidant.
The child can be taken away:
- Parents or legal representatives of the child;
- The parent can write a statement in which he can indicate people who can also do this;
- Brothers and sisters who have reached the age of majority.
Sometimes the kindergarten makes concessions. Sometimes there are negligent educators who do their job poorly and give their children to any people. But if the check reveals such a fact, then the director of the institution will have to pay a fine. Also, directors can be fired or imprisoned if the child is injured.
How to draw up a power of attorney
The parent can draw up a document, which indicates the persons who have the right to pick up the child. There is no clear application form, so problems can often arise with this. There may also be problems with the notarization of a power of attorney, since such a document is not included in the legislation of the Russian Federation.
The easiest way is to indicate in the contract for the provision of services immediately upon the child’s admission to the kindergarten, who can pick him up. This will avoid possible problems.
What to do if there is no one to pick up
If there are strict rules in the kindergarten, and you cannot pick up the child on time, then you can try the following steps:
- Organize a general kindergarten meeting where you raise this issue. There are probably also parents who also work late. Discuss this with the manager. Perhaps she will agree to open a group for such children, which will work longer than the rest.
- Hire a nanny who will pick up the baby from the kindergarten. You can also talk to the caregiver so that she does this for an additional fee, but the likelihood that she will agree is small.
- Change the kindergarten.
But nevertheless, educators often make concessions and allow others to take the children, if the parent warns about this in advance.
Although only certain persons are allowed to pick up a child by law, in reality the kindergarten often goes to a meeting. In this case, the child can be taken by relatives: grandmothers, grandfathers, aunts, uncles, brothers or sisters.
