We recently had our annual staff meeting. It made a huge impression on me. Three years ago I would have gathered with myself, two years ago there would have been six of us. Now we met at the Pioneer cinema, there was a full hall, we even sat on the steps. The Children’s Hospice already has 100 employees!
452 children received assistance. We spent more than 200 million rubles (127 million for the Children’s Hospice and 73 million for the Vera Foundation and you personally, directly to families). 300 volunteers helped the hospice. 11 visits to children were made by the hospice staff. We have lost 522 children.

Sasha swam in the sea in winter. Serezha was congratulated on his birthday by the basketball player of the American NBA team “Cleveland Cavaliers” Timofey Mozgov. There was an exhibition of paintings by Tanya Kolyvanova at the Pioneer cinema. In the middle of spring, Santa Claus came to Dana and Maxim. Sonya sang with Yulia Savicheva. And Masha hosted her favorite singer Jazhewika. Serezha went to the CSKA base and discussed football with Igor Akinfeev. Lisa visited STS on the set of the series “Voronins”. Skander was driving a trolleybus. An exhibition of photographs by Sashenka Glagoleva was held in Masterslavl. Fedya Raspopov moved to live from an orphanage to a family with a new mother, Tanya!
Avangard Bank issued a charity card with the Children’s Hospice logo. We were given two ambulances. In May, more than 100 people gathered for the Day of Remembrance of the children who left under the care of the hospice.

In summer we:
- went to a country camp
- sailed on yachts
- sailed on a ship
- went to the fire station
- walking in Gorky Park
- were in cinema and cafe
On September 1, thousands of schoolchildren supported the children of the Children’s Hospice, raised 8 million rubles and sent a lot of video greetings, postcards, letters of support for children who cannot go to school due to illness.
In autumn, the Nakhabino Golf Club hosted an international camp of the Children’s Hospice for children with spinal muscular amyotrophy, which was attended by a team of specialists from Italy.
And every month we gathered:
- in folklore clubs
- at children’s liturgies
- in the pool
- at sibling clubs
- at parent clubs for moms
- in psychotherapeutic groups for parents of departed children.

In 2016, the Children’s Hospice will need 250 million rubles. 400 families are already registered with the Children’s Hospice, waiting for help, and we are responsible for them.
100 people have already come to work at the Children’s Hospice as doctors, nurses, nannies, psychologists, social workers, lawyers, play therapists, coordinators, drivers… And we are also responsible for them.
There are no state children’s hospices in Moscow. Children’s hospice “House with a Lighthouse” is a charitable institution that exists on your donations. I’m scared to death that we won’t have enough money to help the children or pay the salaries of the staff who go to the children. From all this responsibility, I no longer have a quiet life. But really, it’s all right now, you always help the hospice with everything, everything, everything.
