White wine mulled wine: 5 recipes at home

In order for a hot drink to be really not only tasty, but also healthy, only natural dry wine should be used for its preparation, and not a cheap wine product.

Mulled wine with lemon and spicy spices

Ingredients

  1. Dry white wine – 750 ml

  2. Lemon – 2 slices

  3. Cinnamon stick – 1 pc.

  4. Cloves – 2 buds

  5. Honey – to taste

Method of preparation

  1. Pour white wine into a saucepan, add honey, lemon and spices.

  2. We put the saucepan on a small fire and warm it up until small bubbles appear. Just do not bring to a boil, otherwise all useful and taste properties will be lost.

  3. Turn off the heat and let the mulled wine brew for about 15 minutes under a tightly closed lid.

  4. Then pour it into glasses and enjoy a warming drink before it cools down.

Fragrant white wine mulled wine with orange and brown sugar

Ingredients

  1. Dry white wine – 500 ml

  2. Orange – 2 pcs.

  3. Brown sugar – 4 tbsp. l.

  4. Carnation – 5 buds

  5. Cardamom – 5 boxes

  6. Coriander – 0,5 tsp

Method of preparation

  1. In a saucepan, combine fresh orange, spices and brown sugar.

  2. We heat the mixture over low heat until the sugar crystals completely dissolve and the liquid decreases by 1/3 of its volume.

  3. Then pour in the wine and warm up the drink a little more, but do not bring it to a boil.

  4. Now we pour mulled wine into glasses made of durable glass and you can start tasting.

Mulled wine with raspberries

You can use frozen raspberries in place of fresh raspberries in this recipe. And vanilla bean can be replaced with one bag of vanilla sugar.

Ingredients

  1. Dry white wine – 500 ml

  2. Raspberries – 200 g

  3. Sugar – 2 st. l.

  4. Vanilla pod – 1 pc.

Method of preparation

  1. In a saucepan, mix all the ingredients.

  2. The vanilla pod must first be cut, scrape out all the contents and cut the pod itself into arbitrary pieces. And only then add all the vanilla components to the rest of the ingredients.

  3. Now we warm the contents of the saucepan, but do not bring it to a boil.

  4. Pour boiling water over the serving dish, and then pour the finished mulled wine. This must be done in order to keep the drink warm longer.

White mulled wine with dark rum and fruit

The rum in this recipe just sets off the taste of the finished drink.

Ingredients

  1. Dry white wine – 750 ml

  2. Rum dark – 1 tbsp. l.

  3. half an orange

  4. Half apple

  5. Water – 100 ml

  6. Carnation – 5 pcs.

  7. Cinnamon stick – 2 pc.

  8. Sugar – 8 cubes

Method of preparation

  1. Bring water, spices and sugar to a boil.

  2. While the mixture is boiling, cut the fruit into thin slices, then throw them into the already boiling water and boil for one minute.

  3. Now add wine and dark rum, warm it up well, almost to a boil.

  4. We remove the drink from the heat, cover with a lid and let it brew for 20 minutes.

  5. Then we pour our aromatic white drink into mulled wine glasses.

White wine mulled wine with egg yolk

Ingredients

  1. White dry wine – 1 bottle

  2. Egg yolk – 2 pc.

  3. Cloves – 4 buds

  4. Granulated sugar – 4 tbsp. l.

  5. Water – 250 ml.

Method of preparation

  1. In a saucepan of a suitable volume, mix and warm up all the ingredients well, with the exception of sugar and egg yolks.

  2. In a separate container, it is necessary to grind the yolks with sugar until white.

  3. Now put the egg mixture on a small fire and gradually introduce the wine. Just make sure it’s not too hot, otherwise the yolks may curdle.

  4. Once you have poured in all the wine, whisk the drink with a whisk until foam forms.

  5. After that, remove the mulled wine from the fire and pour it into dishes of a suitable volume.

This mulled wine pairs well with homemade biscuits.
