The most popular varieties in our country are Valentina, Chardonnay, White Muscat and White Miracle. Let’s take a closer look at them.

White grape varieties are suitable for food and wine

“Valentina” is a table grape. The bunches are very large, they can reach 40 cm in length. The berries are elongated, yellow-gold with a slight sage flavor. The yield of this grape is consistently high.

“Chardonnay” is a technical variety that is used to make wines, and wines from it are extremely tasty and aromatic. The berries are medium in size, round, light green in color.

All varieties that are on this list have practically no significant disadvantages.

“White Muscat” is one of the oldest varieties used to make wine. Small round yellow-gold berries are incredibly juicy and tender. This variety is able to store sugar well. Please note that the variety is not frost-resistant.

“White Miracle” is a table variety with large clusters. Their weight can be up to 900 grams. The berries are also large, oval. They have a pronounced white color. The berries stay on the bush for a long time, keeping their beautiful appearance.

  • “Bazhena”. Large bright yellow berries. The bunches are beautiful, well suited for sale, but the variety is very afraid of frost;
  • “White delight”. The variety, bred in Russia, can be grown everywhere, even in Siberia. This grape is not very suitable for wine, it is better to eat it fresh;
  • “White Flame”. American seedless grapes. Large clusters, not afraid of frost, but suffers greatly from diseases and pests;
  • “Maxi”. An elite early variety with very large berries. Up to 50 kg of the crop can be harvested from one bush, but the variety also very poorly tolerates diseases and attacks of pests;
  • “White giant”. Another early variety with large berries. More or less tolerates diseases and pests, but suffers greatly from gray rot.

Of course, this list cannot be called complete, because there are a lot of varieties, but all other varieties are quite rare in our country.
