Growing white chrysanthemums
Before planting, you need to seriously approach the choice of a place for the future flower garden. It must be open to light. Chrysanthemums love direct sunlight. They are undemanding to the composition of the soil, but the soil must be well drained. The soil will need to be loosened regularly. Landing is carried out taking into account the following recommendations:
- We dig holes 40 cm deep, water, lower the seedling and fill it with earth mixed with compost;
- It is better to plant in cloudy or rainy weather. In the heat, the procedure should be postponed until the evening;
- If a high grade is chosen, you need to immediately build a support for the bush;
- In the early days, we cover the seedlings from the sun. You can shade with a stretched cloth, but so that it does not come into contact with the plant.
After planting is complete, the bush must be pinched, removing the growth point. Chrysanthemums need regular watering. As soon as the soil begins to dry out, it needs to be moistened.
All varieties reproduce not only by cuttings, but also by dividing the bush, as well as seeds. They can always be found in a wide range of specialized stores.
