April 10: Launch of rockets and balloons in the Peter and Paul Fortress
The citywide holiday “The First in Space” will take place on Sunday, April 10, on the territory of the Peter and Paul Fortress. At the Naryshkin Bastion, right after the shot from the noon cannon, various flash mobs will take place – song, dance, with balloons.
Model missiles will be launched at the Heliport from 12:00 to 14:00.
In the atrium of the Commandant’s House from 11:00 to 17:00, visitors can see the interior of the room from 1961 and the Martian surface as it will become in 2061.
And at 14:00 there will also be a meeting with the pilot-cosmonaut Pavel Vinogradov, who went into open space seven times.
By the way, the Museum of Cosmonautics and Rocket Technology will be open for free visits all day.

The Museum of Entertaining Science in honor of the 55th anniversary of the first manned flight into space will hold several educational and fun events at once.
On April 8, 11 and 12, on weekdays, at 16:30 at LabyrinthUme, you can visit the scientific Re: Asset Show and master classes on making and launching paper rockets. By the way, we remind you that there are now two museums – in the MFC “Tolstoy Square” (Lev Tolstoy st., 9a) and in the shopping mall “Peter Raduga” (pr. Kosmonavtov, 14).
On April 9, at 13:00, a meeting with pilot-cosmonaut Andrei Borisenko will take place at LabyrinthUme in the Peter Raduga shopping and entertainment complex, who will answer all, even the most tricky questions about space flights.

All week from April 10 to April 17, every visitor to the Planetarium will be able to feel like an astronaut or astronomer. Every day, during the working days of the Planetarium for Kids, a fascinating story about the first man in space awaits.
