One of the factors that affects our health is ecology. Unfortunately, as an individual, each of us can not do much in the fight for a better environment, especially when the infrastructure is not conducive to this fight. Living in more civilized countries, I have always been engaged in recycling at the household level – I sorted garbage at home and tried to throw garbage on the street into appropriate trash bins, if possible.
I recently learned that in Russia it is also possible to deal with the disposal of household waste in a fairly simple way. I am sure that someone will be outraged and say that in the Soviet Union there were points for receiving glass containers and waste paper. But, to be honest, since then I have not come across an opportunity to hand over garbage for recycling in our country and I am glad that recently one friend drew my attention to these sites: Greenpeace and Centrecon. The sites have addresses of points of reception.
Now, every two to three weeks, I donate plastic and glass bottles to the Centrecon recycling center.
I hope I won’t sound very naive if I say that I believe that my micro-effort will make any difference in the situation.
As always, I urge you to join)
