“Where there are six, there are seven”: Natalia Gulkina’s cat house

Eight pets live in the singer’s apartment. Two flew to her by plane, the third came by train. Each has its own story.

Brother and sister Bucks and Chanel of the Scottish Fold breed were the first in the house five years ago. They came to us thanks to the designer Andrey Ponomarev. He prepared costumes for me for a solo concert. I admired the kittens of his cat when I came to try on outfits. Once she took her daughter Yana with her (the girl is now 20 years old. – Approx. “Antennas”), as she saw them, she said: “Mommy, will we ever get ourselves such a thing?”

Andrey noticed it. A month later, we return to him to pick up the finished suits, and he hands me a box. I open it, and there are kittens! Naturally, Yana persuaded to take them. When Bucks and Chanel began to live with us, I realized how delighted I feel from the fact that they are running around, playing, crawling over me. Itself did not expect that it will be so. All the time on the positive, I smile and laugh, looking at them.

Cats are a story of kindness, love and light in the house. But I didn’t plan to take the third one. However, it so happened that somehow before going to bed I went online and stumbled upon the page of a girl from St. Petersburg on Instagram. She had an incredibly beautiful British shorthaired white cat with green eyes. I subscribed to it. At first I just watched, and then I began to leave comments, and so this girl and I found a common language.

When I said that I was in love with her cat, and our friendship began on him, she asked: “Don’t you want this for yourself?” And she asked if I was planning a tour in St. Petersburg, otherwise she just has a white kitten with blue eyes. I replied that there were already two guests at home, but I decided to ask the director if we would not go to St. Petersburg in the near future. Literally a couple of weeks later, a concert appeared unexpectedly. Of course, I stopped by to visit the owner of the cat. Blue-eyed Gabriel walked around her apartment. I could not resist and took it. From St. Petersburg we rode together in a compartment to Moscow.

Mason was the fourth to enter the house. I support animal shelters and thus I met a girl whom I somehow helped – I took three little kittens for overexposure. One fine day she writes that her friend picked up a kitten on the staircase. But he cannot keep it for himself, because he disappears at work all day, so they are looking for good hands for the animal. I asked to send photos. Mason turned out to be absolutely incredible: color like coffee with milk, blue eyes. What a miracle! My daughter then asked: “Mom, are you serious? Where do we go to the fourth? ” We decided to see if the cat will take root or not. Naturally, he stayed.

Next came two girls – Tasya and Snezhka, Siberian Neva Masquerade breeds. I was not going to take them for myself. They were a gift for my mother. She had dogs for 10 years, but they died. Once she, looking at me, said that she would have a kitty. I heard this and thought: “Why is my poor mother sitting there? She needs a favorite! ” And then I saw on Instagram a white cat with blue eyes from Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky. I was even glad that this beauty was so far away, I decided that I would only look at it, like it.

As a result, as usual, it was further observed. I was going to take one girl, Snowball, for my mother, but the hostess said that she would give the second cat as a gift, because they are sisters, it is better not to separate them. They bought tickets for them, and the carrier with the kittens flew in the cabin together with the person who accompanied them to Moscow. Mom was shocked by the gift. Exactly a week has passed, he calls and says: “Take it! These are not cats, they are squirrels, jumping all over the house. ” She treated them just as scrupulously as with children, she was very worried every time one of the sisters climbed somewhere, so she had to move Tasya and Snezhka to Yana and me.

Now there are six of us, and again the damn Internet contributed to the addition to the family. I pick up the phone before going to bed and see a beautiful face named Snow. The girls write that the cat, it seems, was at home, but on self-walking, that is, it climbed out the window and climbed back, and this time, apparently, it got lost. A cat with a huge raccoon tail tied after them on the street. The girls took him home, posted announcements about the foundling everywhere, did all the tests on him, sterilized him, and then the owners showed up. But they refused to pay for the cat’s vaccinations and did not take him away. So they started looking for a new home for Snow.

I liked him right away. Yana already grabbed her head: “Where else is the cat?” She answered: “What is the difference? Where there are six, there are already seven! Moreover, the number is good. ” At Snow we thought to stop. However, an eighth appeared, Simba. This Abyssinian kitten was put in the trash heap right in the carrier. As a result, through third hands, he came to me. Unfortunately, Simba was sick. I took him to clinics, treated him, but nothing helped. Yana and I then decided that this is exactly all, so seven is our number. However, after a while I realized that there was a void left after Simba left, this place needs to be filled. And Yana began to wonder if I wanted to get an Abyssinian. We arrived at the kennel and chose the red-haired Sam. All the inhabitants accepted him on the second day. He’s the perfect guy to fit into our feline family.
